Helping bully breed dogs through Rescue, Education, and Advocating.
Who we are
We are a 501c3 non-profit organization established in June of 2019. Our founder Kailani Miranda has dedicated her life to helping bully breed dogs. Koa Bully Rescue and Sanctuary care for our dogs out of founder's dog sanctuary and foster homes. Our organization relies solely on our volunteers and is funded through the generous donations of our supporters. We do not receive government funding.

Our Mission
To help bully breed dogs through rescue, education, and advocating.
Rescue: Koa Bully is a safe haven for bully-type dogs. Through our adoption and foster programs we will be able to help rescue these love-a-bull dogs, provide medical care, and behavioral training needed until they find their forever homes!
Education: The challenges that our bully-breed dogs face are the result of lack of education and resources for our bully dogs. Koa Bully would like to create an open dialogue and positive exposure for our favorite tail-waggin, fun loving bully breed dogs. We will promote the importance of spay/neuter, and responsible pet ownership.
Advocate: Be their voice! BSL (Breed Specific legislation) does not work! BSL is costly and difficult to enforce, to make matters worse they haven't improved public safety for people or dogs. Through our programs of adoption, education, spay/neuter, training is how we will improve the lives of our community and four-legged friends. Your support will help Koa Bully make the difference in these dogs life. Each animal is an individual! Let's give them a chance to find their loving forever home.
