Meet Cora!Cora is our longest resident, She has been waiting for a home for over a year. She has had only 1 person even come to meet her. No one has considered her otherwise. She is extraordinarily silly, loving, and a wonderful companion. She is a great watchdog and loves bones and toys.
Cora has some specific needs, she is in need of a home with no other pets, and no children. She was rescued from the Caymen Islands where she was over bred and abused. She is looking for a single adult or adult couple that would like an only child. She is 6 years old, a heartworm survivor, and longing for a forever home! |
Our Mission
To help bully breed dogs through rescue, education, and advocating.
Rescue: Koa Bully is a safe haven for bully-type dogs. Through our adoption and foster programs we will be able to help rescue these love-a-bull dogs, provide medical care, and behavioral training needed until they find their forever homes!
Education: The challenges that our bully-breed dogs face are the result of lack of education and resources for our bully dogs. Koa Bully would like to create an open dialogue and positive exposure for our favorite tail-waggin, fun loving bully breed dogs. We will promote the importance of spay/neuter, and responsible pet ownership.
Advocate: Be their voice! BSL (Breed Specific legislation) does not work! BSL is costly and difficult to enforce, to make matters worse they haven't improved public safety for people or dogs. Through our programs of adoption, education, spay/neuter, training is how we will improve the lives of our community and four-legged friends. Your support will help Koa Bully make the difference in these dogs life. Each animal is an individual! Let's give them a chance to find their loving forever home.

Goals:
- Provide our community with resources: education, training, spay/neuter, and sanctuary for bully breed dogs in Southern Oregon.
- To advocate change for the reputation of bully breed dogs.
- To train and place service dogs for veterans.
- To reduce euthanasia rates of bully breed dogs in Southern Oregon.
Our Vision
Our rescue is dedicated to being the “change” for dogs known as bully breeds. We hope to secure a safe and prosperous future for these dogs by helping bully breeds through: rescue, adoptions, education, training, and responsible dog ownership. We will distinguish Breed Specific Legislation and remove the bad reputation from bully breed dogs. We envision a future where Bully Breeds are recognized as loving members of the family and working members of the community and are applauded for their contributions to society.
